Missy was a practicing real estate attorney with a B.A. from Connecticut College and J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law when her first professional design opportunities presented themselves through Dooney Woodworks.  Through this initial work she discovered that her real estate background and attention to detail coupled with her passion for design gave her a unique advantage managing design projects and their players.  Having helped people purchase homes and businesses purchase or lease commercial space for years, she relished now helping clients make such homes or spaces truly their own.  She received an additional degree from the New York School of Interior Design, and opened her firm, M. Dooney Interiors, specializing in residential interior design.
